Archetype, is an open competition of ideas for students and young designers, to invent and design the cultural building of Holland. An Iconic building like the Eiffel Tower or Atonium, yet distinctive because of its social function, and climate – environmental interaction.

Our mission is to start the discussion for this building on a national level, and to create a platform for the various ideas and results supporting it..

Our vision is that in a bureaucratic nation such as The Netherlands, when pitching this idea to any government agency or project developer, it will be hard to get any positive answer, yet a national competition, with a variety of discussant ideas and results, will increase its chance to do actual exist in near future.
